But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Camilo Bodelon couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, Club Alianza Lima's Xavieon Estopinal got control of the ball when Mergildo Rotalo tried to sneak it across the goal line. The supporters of Club Alianza Lima booed when ACQ FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 7 match minutes in a wonderful position. Camilo Bodelon didn't get a good kick on the ball. Camilo Bodelon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The attack was good, but when Mergildo Rotalo in the 13th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After 18 played minutes Club Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Germano Villaran. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mergildo Rotalo in the 22nd minute of play forced Club Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Xavieon Estopinal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 27th minute, Cordeal Bolonga hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Club Alianza Lima's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maximiliano Abar was slow to take the kick. During this time ACQ FC's players had a chance to rest. Maximiliano Abar made a great header on ACQ FC's corner, it was just that Club Alianza Lima's Xavieon Estopinal managed to reach the ball for a save. Xavieon Estopinal took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camilo Bodelon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Xavieon Estopinal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Camilo Bodelon's shot from short distance in the 48th minute.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Cordeal Bolonga stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Pedro Garabito sped through Club Alianza Lima's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Xavieon Estopinal. Mergildo Rotalo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Xavieon Estopinal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mergildo Rotalo in the 67th minute of play. Xavieon Estopinal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mergildo Rotalo's shot from short distance in the 73rd minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mergildo Rotalo in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xavieon Estopinal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pedro Garabito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Birjaio Santisso hit a great freekick 76 minutes into the match. Xavieon Estopinal stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pedro Garabito's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. When ACQ FC's Pedro Garabito in the 85th minute got a chance for a shot 85th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
