Marin Basel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Mergildo Rotalo in the 7th minute of the match. Bernaldo Berrondo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Gustaf Eklund made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mergildo Rotalo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin Basel saved Cometero from getting behind. 14 minutes into the match, Mergildo Rotalo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cometero's Marin Basel. Marin Basel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 19th minute Mergildo Rotalo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marin Basel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Camilo Bodelon struck a weak shot in the 21st minute. Marin Basel didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ACQ FC. Marin Basel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Bodelon in the 31st minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Camilo Bodelon in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marin Basel saved Cometero from getting behind. When ACQ FC's Mergildo Rotalo in the 41st minute got a chance for a shot 41st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cometero's goalie prevented a goal. Marin Basel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mergildo Rotalo's shot from short distance in the 42nd minute. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Gustaf Eklund, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After the first half ACQ FC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Mergildo Rotalo to strike the kick off in the second half. Marin Basel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Camilo Bodelon in the 53rd minute of play. A collision led to Cometero getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Bento Adrales hit a great ball. Camilo Bodelon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marin Basel having to interfere. ACQ FC's Pedro Garabito was substituted for Camilo Bodelon. The crowd rose to their feet as ACQ FC's Pedro Garabito slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marin Basel. That made the score 0-4 after 61 minutes of play. Mergildo Rotalos short, quick shot in the 65thth minute got Marin Basel to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. 66 minutes into the match, Cometero's goalkeeper Marin Basel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mergildo Rotalo. When %teams%'s Pedro Garabito was free in front of goal, he didn't hesitate to shoot 0-5 just inside the left pole, 67 minutes into the game. Marin Basel was annoyed at himself for letting in the shot. Mergildo Rotalo who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 71stth minute tested the skills of Marin Basel when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After some careless play in the Cometero defense, Mergildo Rotalo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Marin Basel. The Cometero fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Marin Basel should have stopped the shot. Marin Basel was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mergildo Rotalo showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 0-7 in the 76 minute of play. Mergildo Rotalo in the 80thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Marin Basel, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Marin Basel made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Mergildo Rotalo sent off a good shot on target. Cometero's Marin Basel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pedro Garabito in the 82nd minute of play. Cometero's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Pedro Garabito 87 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 0-9. The ACQ FC fans' excitement grew in the 94th match minute when ACQ FC's Mergildo Rotalo looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-10 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene.
