Eufrasio Zaballos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 20th minute of the match, but Laureano Somalo made a huge save. Jonatan Parraga made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Llope Cela in the 22nd minute of play. After 22 played minutes FC Chabelos Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Xove Notes. Jonatan Parraga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eder Arredondo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 36th minute, Llope Cela ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Jonatan Parraga was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. After 40 played minutes FC Chabelos Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Fermin Ibern. FC Chabelos Jrs.'s Jonatan Parraga played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Llope Cela in the 41st minute of play. Eufrasio Zaballos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of FC Chabelos Jrs. booed when Palermo F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eustaquio Villarprego didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 47 minutes, Llope Cela made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. FC Chabelos Jrs.'s Jonatan Parraga tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. After the first half Palermo F.C were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eder Arredondo made a kick off. If Mariano Pumeral had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 57 minutes into the game, FC Chabelos Jrs.'s Mariano Pumeral nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Laureano Somalo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. After some fancy dribbling in the 62nd minute, Mariano Pumeral managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Chabelos Jrs.'s supporters rose to their feet, but Mariano Pumeral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Laureano Somalo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 63 minutes into the game, Mariano Pumeral cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Laureano Somalo was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Palermo F.C's Llope Cela got a good chance for a goal in the 69th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 72 minutes into the match, Palermo F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Eufrasio Zaballos came free, but Laureano Somalo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jonatan Parraga made an important save on a dangerous shot by Llope Cela in the 74th minute. If Eder Arredondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 76th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Palermo F.C booed when FC Chabelos Jrs. was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Blasi Orbe didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Palermo F.C's zone, Mariano Pumeral stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jonatan Parraga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Palermo F.C. Eder Arredondo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jonatan Parraga having to interfere. After 98 played minutes FC Chabelos Jrs. got a freekick which was hit by Guipuzkoa Abin. A hard shot by Rigoberto Bachicabo from long distance, 99 minutes into the match, got Jonatan Parraga's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Palermo F.C walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
