In the 20th minute Manilan Ontova shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tolino Gorostarzu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Quishuara's Selatse Mansilla nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tolino Gorostarzu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Quishuara's Sabin Burcena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 33rd minute of the match, managed to save Quishuara from getting a goal against them. After some fancy dribbling in the 36th minute, Jago Escuza managed to get in a good position for a shot. Herptal FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Jago Escuza was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sabin Burcena breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guillermo Ribera struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Sabin Burcena didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Herptal FC. Jago Escuza succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 3-1 in the 48th playminute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guillermo Ribera to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manilan Ontova in the 69th minute of play forced Herptal FC's goalkeeper Tolino Gorostarzu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tolino Gorostarzu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Selatse Mansilla in the 70th minute. Herptal FC's Tolino Gorostarzu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manilan Ontova in the 71st minute of play. 76 minutes into the match, Quishuara's goal looked a bit too open when Jago Escuza came free, but Sabin Burcena reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Herptal FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
