In the 34th minute, Nike United's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Xaiver Aviñante fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. In the 35th minute the ball was on its way in behind Nike United's goalkeeper Errando Remolino, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Seme Bejar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Koldo Baldes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 39th minute, Koldo Baldes made a precise shot to the right of Seme Bejar. Sporting Cristal F.C's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 45 played minutes Nike United got a freekick which was hit by Francho Somonte. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Raimundo Bon made a kick off. Seme Bejar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sancho Moraina in the 52nd minute of the match. If Koldo Baldes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Raimundo Bon came free, but Seme Bejar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sporting Cristal F.C's Seme Bejar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Raimundo Bon in the 57th minute of play. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Nike United walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
