Quintyn Flores kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. Huancaroni's Edson Pascual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Hordoñez in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes in the game, Claris Santayana fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Edson Pascual having to interfere. The referee ignored Huancaroni's protests and gave Aritza Dorol a yellow card for diving instead. Aritza Dorol kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. Edson Pascual made a fantastic save in the 41st minute, when Bernardo Sarratea sent off a good shot on target. If Bernardo Sarratea had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 50th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 4-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claris Santayana to make the kick off. 56 minutes into the match, Jayanquillo's Bernardo Sarratea sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edson Pascual narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Mercurio Calahorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sabin Morenas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Helder Bachicabo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 64th minute of play. Huancaroni's Edson Pascual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bernardo Sarratea in the 66th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Bernardo Sarratea notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of Huancaroni's Edson Pascual. Edson Pascual was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Aritza Dorol was shown his second yellow card after 75 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Bernardo Sarratea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jayanquillo's supporters rose to their feet, but Bernardo Sarratea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Edson Pascual breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 85 played minutes Huancaroni got a freekick which was hit by Sabin Morenas. In the 88thth minute of the game Bernardo Sarratea who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Huancaroni's Edson Pascual was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Huancaroni's Edson Pascual played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claris Santayana in the 90th minute of play. Bernardo Sarratea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Claris Santayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Jayanquillo's Claris Santayana got a free kick in the 99th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Jayanquillo fully deserved thier win.
