The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. With his leg Edson Pascual managed to avoid a goal in the 3rdth minute, when Club Alianza Lima's Castel Torrecillas fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Baiona Pinillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Maximino Hoyon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 7th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Huancaroni's zone, Maximino Hoyon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Pascual came out of the goal and Maximino Hoyon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 14 minutes, Baiona Pinillas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Club Alianza Lima and the Huancaroni players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 14 played minutes Club Alianza Lima got a freekick which was hit by Baiona Pinillas. In the 18th minute, Castel Torrecillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Raymond Manzardo kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. After 34 minutes, Mercurio Calahorra mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Huancaroni and the Club Alianza Lima players grew even worse after the yellow card. Mercurio Calahorra hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. 35 minutes into the game, Maximino Hoyon recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Edson Pascual. Maximino Hoyon showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. After 41 played minutes Castel Torrecillas rounded Huancaroni's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Baiona Pinillas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 46 minutes, Baiona Pinillas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Alianza Lima's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baiona Pinillas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Castel Torrecillas to strike the kick off in the second half. Aritza Dorol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 53 minutes into the match, Club Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Morenas came free, but Sergio Maquilanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Baiona Pinillas was shown his second yellow card after 53 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. In the 54th minute, Baiona Pinillas hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Edson Pascual came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Alianza Lima's Hori Enebro. But to his dismay, Hori Enebro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Jerardo Rollan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Pascual having to interfere. If Mercurio Calahorra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 70 minutes into the match, Club Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Sabin Morenas came free, but Sergio Maquilanda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sergio Maquilanda made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sabin Morenas in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Club Alianza Lima's Hori Enebro got a free kick in the 76th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Mercurio Calahorra got free with Sergio Maquilanda in the 79th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Mercurio Calahorra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Sergio Maquilanda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Club Alianza Lima's Castel Torrecillas got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Maximino Hoyon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Edson Pascual tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Club Alianza Lima players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
