The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pearl Jam's Faas Maestri played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dolcet Galisteo in the 3rd minute of play. Dolcet Galisteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faas Maestri having to interfere. Dolcet Galisteo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Faas Maestri tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Faas Maestri stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dolcet Galisteo's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. A collision led to Mercenarios FC getting a freekick after 19 minutes play. Suero Oliveras hit a great ball. 23 minutes into the game, Pearl Jam's Odon Sarabia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Regis Urtiaga made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. A collision led to Mercenarios FC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Suero Oliveras hit a great ball. 31 minutes into the game, Odon Sarabia recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Regis Urtiaga. Odon Sarabia showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. In the 34th play minute Elija Ledrado came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Regis Urtiaga. 3-0.

Dolcet Galisteo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Faas Maestri having to interfere. Regis Urtiaga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Odon Sarabia, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Elija Ledrado sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dolcet Galisteos short, quick shot in the 63rdth minute got Faas Maestri to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Brion Pont scored 4-0 in the 70th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Regis Urtiaga, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Mercenarios FC's Dolcet Galisteo in the 76th minute got a chance for a shot 76th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pearl Jam's goalie prevented a goal. 77 minutes into the game, Odon Sarabia cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Regis Urtiaga was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Faas Maestri showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dolcet Galisteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 80th minute. A collision led to Mercenarios FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Tulasi Enteş hit a great ball. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Pearl Jam fully deserved thier win.
