When the match clock showed 60 minutes, the score became 2-1 when Baiona Pinillas sped through Nike United's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Errando Remolino. Castel Torrecillas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 68th minute, one of Club Alianza Lima:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Club Alianza Lima. In the 76th minute Club Alianza Lima were awarded a corner. Stefano Lorenzo went to the cornerflag to take it. The corner ended in Stefano Lorenzo almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Nike United's Errando Remolino did a great save. Errando Remolino showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maximino Hoyon, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute.
