The supporters of Jayanquillo booed when Sporting Cristal F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 5 match minutes in a wonderful position. Asur Herro didn't get a good kick on the ball. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Seme Bejar showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Helder Bachicabo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Xaiver Aviñante in the 8th minute of play. Xaiver Aviñante took the ball and in the 8 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Helder Bachicabo. Helder Bachicabo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Bernardo Sarratea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Xaiver Aviñante in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Helder Bachicabo saved Jayanquillo from getting behind. Xaiver Aviñante struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Helder Bachicabo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Sporting Cristal F.C. In the 29th minute, Bernardo Sarratea got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30thth minute of the game Claris Santayana who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Cristal F.C's Seme Bejar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Sporting Cristal F.C's Xaiver Aviñante in the 33rd minute got a chance for a shot 33rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Jayanquillo's goalie prevented a goal. 36 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Sarratea came free, but Seme Bejar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Seme Bejar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claris Santayana in the 37th minute of the match. Llanos Riera's late challenge caught a Sporting Cristal F.C's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xaiver Aviñante was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Sporting Cristal F.C got a freekick which was hit by Vitor Calviño. Seme Bejar came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by Jayanquillo's Claris Santayana. But to his dismay, Claris Santayana quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. In the 57th minute, Bernardo Sarratea hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seme Bejar made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Bernardo Sarratea sent off a good shot on target. Seme Bejar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claris Santayana in the 60th minute of play. If Claris Santayana had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bernardo Sarratea received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Seme Bejar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bernardo Sarratea got free with Seme Bejar in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A collision led to Sporting Cristal F.C getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Oliveiro Sarasua hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Cristal F.C's zone, Bernardo Sarratea stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Seme Bejar came out of the goal and Bernardo Sarratea tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 72nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Sporting Cristal F.C's goalkeeper Seme Bejar, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Claris Santayana received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 76th minute. Seme Bejar tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Sporting Cristal F.C's Salbatore Sena got a free kick in the 77th minute. Seme Bejar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claris Santayana, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. 80 minutes into the game, Oliveiro Sarasua was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Cristal F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jayanquillo the free kick. Oliveiro Sarasua kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. 81 minutes into the match, Jayanquillo's Bruno Hordoñez broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. A hard shot 84 in the game by Bernardo Sarratea from a close distance when the talented Seme Bejar managed to make a qualified save. Sporting Cristal F.C's players were relieved. Seme Bejar made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Bernardo Sarratea sent off a good shot on target. 89 minutes into the match, Sporting Cristal F.C's goalkeeper Seme Bejar had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bernardo Sarratea. 91 minutes into the game, Elazar Iruz was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Sporting Cristal F.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Jayanquillo the free kick. After 90 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Sporting Cristal F.C! After having played for 93 minutes, Claris Santayana managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jayanquillo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claris Santayana was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience thought it was a sure goal in the 98th minute, when Jayanquillo's Bruno Hordoñez after having done a great run through the defense got himself free with Seme Bejar in Sporting Cristal F.C's goal and fired away a shot, but it missed the goal by a fraction of an inch.
