An unexpectedly hard shot by Raimundo Bon in the 4th minute of play forced Huancaroni's goalkeeper Edson Pascual to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huancaroni's zone, Koldo Baldes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Edson Pascual came out of the goal and Koldo Baldes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Raimundo Bon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Pascual having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sabin Morenas in the 9th minute of play forced Nike United's goalkeeper Errando Remolino to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Sabin Morenas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Koldo Baldes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edson Pascual having to interfere. Koldo Baldes struck a weak shot in the 16th minute. Edson Pascual didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Nike United. Mercurio Calahorra received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Errando Remolino tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Errando Remolino took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mercurio Calahorra, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 34 played minutes Huancaroni got a freekick which was hit by Genaro Landa. A collision led to Huancaroni getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Omar Respaldiza hit a great ball. In the 44th minute, Raimundo Bon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 46th minute, Mercurio Calahorra got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Nike United players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Huancaroni were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Raimundo Bon to strike the kick off in the second half. Sabin Morenas blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Errando Remolino having to make a save. The audience was convinced that Sabin Morenas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Errando Remolino was relentless in the 69th minute of the game. The Nike United fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Huancaroni were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
