Beremundo Maceira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Efren Velis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anselmo Aranzabal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Videl Colomines was a little too slow when Beremundo Maceira got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 17th minute. The score was now 1-0. 20 minutes into the game, Anselmo Aranzabal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Efren Velis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When Xilo Tecla came up free with the goalie in the 27th minute, the Miguel Grau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xilo Tecla couldn't finish the play. In the 28th minute, Beremundo Maceira got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Evaristo Trespuentes kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. Xilo Tecla sent away a hard shot on goal in the 36th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Xilo Tecla came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the Miguel Grau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xilo Tecla couldn't finish the play. Xilo Teclas short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Videl Colomines to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Beremundo Maceira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Videl Colomines having to interfere. After a rather tough play, CD La Victoria's Santos Septiem got a free kick in the 45th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Anselmo Aranzabal stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Beremundo Maceira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 55th minute Xilo Tecla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Colomines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes into the game, Anselmo Aranzabal cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Efren Velis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Anselmo Aranzabal in the 63rd minute of the match. 69 minutes into the game, Miguel Grau's Beremundo Maceira nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Videl Colomines made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. The supporters of CD La Victoria booed when Miguel Grau was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anxo Almirall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Efren Velis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Estebano Adrales in the 75th minute. In the 84th minute Xilo Tecla shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Videl Colomines saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 89 minutes, Beremundo Maceira managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Miguel Grau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beremundo Maceira was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 91 minutes into the match, Beremundo Maceira had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Videl Colomines. CD La Victoria's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Beremundo Maceira was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-3.
