Quico Arandoja sent away a hard shot on goal in the 9th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some careless play in the San Martin FC defense, Germano Zugasti kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bazkoare Munguira. The San Martin FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bazkoare Munguira should have stopped the shot. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gonsalve Naveda got free with Santo Ruidio in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eleazar Mussoll during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 played minutes Chornos got a freekick which was hit by Eleazar Mussoll. Virila Urquia recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 46th minute, Gonsalve Naveda got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Santo Ruidio took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Virila Urquia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Serafin Polla to make the kick off. After 76 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for San Martin FC! When Che Alari fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Chornos's protests and gave Che Alari a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Chornos's Che Alari got a free kick in the 86th minute. Eleazar Mussoll got his second yellow card in the match during the 90th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. When the final whistle went the supporters of Chornos were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant San Martin FC side.
