After a rather tough play, Carao's Lauren Araso got a free kick in the 16th minute. Froila Ilarraza hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. Cristos Espejo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caton Adames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Magdaleno Villafañe, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. Ronaldo Abeitia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 43rd minute Magdaleno Villafañe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caton Adames saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. Los Cremas's Caton Adames played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Magdaleno Villafañe in the 90th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cremas's zone, Froila Ilarraza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caton Adames came out of the goal and Froila Ilarraza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Caton Adames took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eugenio Trueba, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
