After a defensive mix-up in Los Cremas's zone, Azubeli Lizana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caton Adames came out of the goal and Azubeli Lizana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 13 minutes into the match, Azubeli Lizana had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caton Adames. Los Cremas's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Azubeli Lizana was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. Ascencio Masses made a fantastic save in the 19th minute, when Cristos Espejo sent off a good shot on target. Cantix FC's Azubeli Lizana got a good chance for a goal in the 20th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Su Nicolas might have been able to make a better finish in the 26th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Caton Adames. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Su Nicolas ran back to his position shaking his head. Caton Adames showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Su Nicolas, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Ronaldo Abeitia fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ascencio Masses having to interfere. In the 40th minute the ball was on its way in behind Los Cremas's goalkeeper Caton Adames, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Los Cremas's zone, Azubeli Lizana stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Caton Adames came out of the goal and Azubeli Lizana tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ronaldo Abeitia was the one to do the kick off. Su Nicolas struck a weak shot in the 52nd minute. Caton Adames didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cantix FC. If Ronaldo Abeitia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ronaldo Abeitia's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Ascencio Masses was relentless in the 86th minute of the game. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Su Nicolas in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Caton Adames prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
