Spectators: 7705 (Terracing: 5775, Seating: 1771, VIP seats: 159) An unexpectedly hard shot by Obeko Subirada in the 3rd minute of play forced Real Club Ancash's goalkeeper Rene Ronda to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Quirze Isazi fell near the penalty area in the 5th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Real Club Ancash's protests and gave Quirze Isazi a yellow card for diving instead. In the 5th minute, Quirze Isazi hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Lia Llamosas, 6 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 9 minutes into the match, Cienciano del Cusco's Obeko Subirada sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Rene Ronda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Inocente Alanis in the 14th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rene Ronda prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Obeko Subirada recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After a rather tough play, Real Club Ancash's Eufemio Balague got a free kick in the 16th minute. Obeko Subirada's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rene Ronda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 20th minute of play. Rene Ronda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Inocente Alanis, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Obeko Subirada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Ronda having to interfere. 29 minutes into the match, Real Club Ancash's goal looked a bit too open when Inocente Alanis came free, but Rene Ronda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Obeko Subirada sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eufemio Balague's late challenge caught a Cienciano del Cusco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Eufemio Balague helped the player get up and apologised. Eufemio Balague kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. In the 40th minute Inocente Alanis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rene Ronda saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Xaver Loro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Xorxe Corces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cornelio Puebla kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Xaver Loro might have been able to make a better finish in the 45th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Xorxe Corces. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xaver Loro ran back to his position shaking his head. Lalo Argüelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Disappointed in the 0-1 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xaver Loro stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 54thth minute of the game Inocente Alanis who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Real Club Ancash's Rene Ronda was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Obeko Subirada might have been able to make a better finish in the 62nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rene Ronda. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Obeko Subirada ran back to his position shaking his head. 73 minutes into the match, Real Club Ancash's goal looked a bit too open when Inocente Alanis came free, but Rene Ronda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 78 minutes into the match, Cienciano del Cusco's goal looked a bit too open when Lalo Argüelles came free, but Xorxe Corces reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Obeko Subirada got free with Rene Ronda in the 81st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Obeko Subirada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rene Ronda having to interfere. Xaver Loro received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Xorxe Corces tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 88 played minutes Cienciano del Cusco got a freekick which was hit by Bittor Estevez. Xorxe Corces made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lalo Argüelles in the 89th minute of play. Real Club Ancash's Xaver Loro got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After 92 played minutes Cienciano del Cusco got a freekick which was hit by Cornelio Puebla. If Xaver Loro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Cienciano del Cusco walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
