Chacarita Juniors's supporters rose to their feet, but Pedroso Brufau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cris Nobajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute Napier Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Nobajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joaquin Larrauri in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cris Nobajas prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Izotz Quicedo in the 32nd minute of play forced Chacarita Juniors's goalkeeper Matia Frances to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 36 played minutes Conventillo got a freekick which was hit by Urki Balerdi. The supporters of Chacarita Juniors booed when Conventillo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 42 match minutes in a wonderful position. Urki Balerdi didn't get a good kick on the ball. 44 minutes into the game, Favila Bravo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conventillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Chacarita Juniors the free kick. After 45 played minutes, Chacarita Juniors's Pedroso Brufau shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Cris Nobajas came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Chacarita Juniors reached it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Napier Clemente made a kick off. The supporters of Conventillo booed when Chacarita Juniors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 52 match minutes in a wonderful position. Playo Carral didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 56 minutes, Napier Clemente managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chacarita Juniors's supporters crossed their fingers, but Napier Clemente was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 61 minutes into the match, Conventillo's goal looked a bit too open when Pedroso Brufau came free, but Cris Nobajas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Conventillo getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Urki Balerdi hit a great ball. In the 68th minute Napier Clemente shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cris Nobajas saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 70 minutes of play, Chacarita Juniors's Napier Clemente made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cris Nobajas was left in no man's land by his defense there! Cris Nobajas showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napier Clemente in the 74th minute of the match. If Pedroso Brufau had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Shepherd Agüera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 79th minute of the match, but Matia Frances made a huge save.
