Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Anton Saz made the kick off which started today's match. A hard shot 4 in the game by Bibiano Guanes from a close distance when the talented Xuan Ligero managed to make a qualified save. Macacona FC's players were relieved. After 19 played minutes Macacona FC got a freekick which was hit by Anton Saz. In the 23rd minute Salomone Macedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jeronimo Hormaza saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 27th minute of the game. One of Macacona FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Quimariari:s goal. Silvio Talaga hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. Artemio Arnedo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. A collision led to Macacona FC getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Niguel Alamos hit a great ball. Xuan Ligero made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Bibiano Guanes sent off a good shot on target. Anton Saz sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Bibiano Guanes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Artemio Arnedo to make the kick off. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Bibiano Guanes in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Xuan Ligero prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jeronimo Hormaza showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anton Saz, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The supporters of Macacona FC booed when Quimariari was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Arixo Barrera didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Anton Saz came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the Macacona FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Saz couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Anton Saz in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jeronimo Hormaza saved Quimariari from getting behind. Artemio Arnedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Macacona FC's Xuan Ligero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Artemio Arnedo in the 73rd minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Artemio Arnedo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Quimariari's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Macacona FC the free kick. Artemio Arnedo kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. In the 80th minute Bibiano Guanes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuan Ligero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Macacona FC's goalkeeper Xuan Ligero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bibiano Guanes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 85th minute Artemio Arnedo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Xuan Ligero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Salomone Macedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Anton Saz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Jeronimo Hormaza was relentless in the 96th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Quimariari had won after a very even match.
