The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Helder Gadano during the 2nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Real Lima's Helder Gadano got a free kick in the 2nd minute. When Jeronimo Ahijado came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Real Lima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Ahijado couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice moves Jeronimo Ahijado could shoot a difficult shot in the 8th minute, which Cris Nobajas however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Shepherd Agüera in the 11th minute of play forced Real Lima's goalkeeper Ofelio Brito to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Conventillo's Izotz Quicedo got a free kick in the 12th minute. A hard shot by Ibon Cereijais from long distance, 14 minutes into the match, got Cris Nobajas's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cris Nobajas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elija Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. When the match had gone on for 18 minutes, Izotz Quicedo put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Ofelio Brito. Elija Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Jeronimo Ahijado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Real Lima's Jeronimo Ahijado got a good chance for a goal in the 35th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Elija Pena might have been able to make a better finish in the 38th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cris Nobajas. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Elija Pena ran back to his position shaking his head. When Tebaldo Olloqui fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Conventillo's protests and gave Tebaldo Olloqui a yellow card for diving instead. Tebaldo Olloqui hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 45th minute, Jeronimo Ahijado managed to get in a good position for a shot. Real Lima's supporters rose to their feet, but Jeronimo Ahijado was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cris Nobajas breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

In the 51st minute, Elija Pena got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 52 minutes into the game, Urki Balerdi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Conventillo's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Real Lima the free kick. After 52 played minutes Conventillo got a freekick which was hit by Urki Balerdi. Conventillo's Cris Nobajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elija Pena in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, Real Lima's goalkeeper Ofelio Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shepherd Agüera. Real Lima's Ofelio Brito played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Izotz Quicedo in the 61st minute of play. A hard shot 62 in the game by Shepherd Agüera from a close distance when the talented Ofelio Brito managed to make a qualified save. Real Lima's players were relieved. Izotz Quicedo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 64th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shepherd Agüera got free with Ofelio Brito in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Shepherd Agüera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 75th minute. Ofelio Brito tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Conventillo's Cris Nobajas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Ahijado in the 81st minute of play. Shepherd Agüera could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Ofelio Brito made a huge save. Ofelio Brito didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 86th minute, which inside left pole to 0-2. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Conventillo had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
