Havier Benavidez showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marciano Ruete in the 5th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 7th minute of the game. One of Hungurahue FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of dcalixto FC:s goal. After 9 minutes of play, dcalixto FC's Gaudencio Zalona made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bonifaco Toraño was left in no man's land by his defense there! The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bonifaco Toraño came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by dcalixto FC's Salvador Hualde. But to his dismay, Salvador Hualde quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. 26 minutes into the game, one of Hungurahue FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave dcalixto FC a penalty, 28 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaudencio Zalona, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Hungurahue FC's Bonifaco Toraño. 0-3. Salvador Hualde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bonifaco Toraño showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Almenester in the 38th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marciano Ruete in the 40th minute of play forced dcalixto FC's goalkeeper Havier Benavidez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Almenester was the one to do the kick off. Havier Benavidez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Demario Beguellina, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Bonifaco Toraño made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvador Hualde in the 78th minute. Salvador Hualde kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 80thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Hungurahue FC's keeper Bonifaco Toraño was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. After 82 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hungurahue FC! Havier Benavidez made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Demario Beguellina in the 89th minute of play. Damian Almenester fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bonifaco Toraño having to interfere. dcalixto FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
