Jeronimo Ahijado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benino Cordoba having to interfere. A collision led to Real Lima getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Nicolao Rotalo hit a great ball. In the 17th minute, Gaspar Tordomar got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Elija Pena sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaizka Ucero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Jeronimo Ahijado came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Real Lima fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jeronimo Ahijado couldn't finish the play. Benino Cordoba showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jeronimo Ahijado, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. If Mincho Sierra had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute Elija Pena shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benino Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Real Lima's goalkeeper Ofelio Brito had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mincho Sierra. After a rather tough play, Real Lima's Helder Gadano got a free kick in the 46th minute. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Mincho Sierra to make the kick off. Ofelio Brito made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feo Cases in the 53rd minute of play. 53 minutes into the match, Feo Cases had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ofelio Brito. Real Lima's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Feo Cases was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. In the 58th minute, Mincho Sierra ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ofelio Brito was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-0. Gaizka Ucero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ofelio Brito having to interfere. Feo Cases sent away a hard shot on goal in the 65th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Gaspar Tordomar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Deportivo Letizia AC's attack was well implemented in the 73rd minute, but when Mincho Sierra was about to shoot he didn't get a good hit on the ball and it hit the crossbar and flew over. Goal Kick. After a defensive mix-up in Real Lima's zone, Mincho Sierra stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ofelio Brito came out of the goal and Mincho Sierra tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Helder Gadano kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. When Deportivo Letizia AC's Mincho Sierra in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Real Lima's goalie prevented a goal. After a rather tough play, Real Lima's Ekaitz Telena got a free kick in the 80th minute. Deportivo Letizia AC's Xeromo Villacorta got a good chance for a goal in the 97th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Deportivo Letizia AC had played much better football throughout.
