An unexpectedly hard shot by Havier Valcuende in the 19th minute of play forced dcalixto FC's goalkeeper Havier Benavidez to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Austin Bebias in the 21st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Havier Benavidez saved dcalixto FC from getting behind. Playo Cavero made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Damian Almenester in the 24th minute of play. The supporters of dcalixto FC booed when Alianza Lima was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pasqual Lloves didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Alianza Lima's Ferrando Ontanilla got a free kick in the 42nd minute. Playo Cavero came out of the goal in the 44th minute to try and stop a shot by dcalixto FC's Damian Almenester. But to his dismay, Damian Almenester quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 47 minutes into the match, Alianza Lima's goal looked a bit too open when Damian Almenester came free, but Playo Cavero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Almenester was the one to do the kick off. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Alianza Lima's goalkeeper Playo Cavero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Havier Benavidez made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Havier Valcuende sent off a good shot on target. After 63 played minutes dcalixto FC got a freekick which was hit by Eate Madinabeitia. The audience was convinced that Damian Almenester's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Playo Cavero was relentless in the 67th minute of the game. Playo Cavero showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Almenester in the 68th minute of the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 94th minute of the game. One of dcalixto FC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Alianza Lima:s goal. In the 96th minute there was a penalty for Alianza Lima. Oihenarte Aceituno stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Havier Benavidez. 1-1.
