Kepa Quintero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Cefero Vadillo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Angelo Deaguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cefero Vadillo having to interfere. After 9 played minutes Monomalismo got a freekick which was hit by Baltasar Caño. In the 11th minute of the match Magdaleno Gilavert sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Cefero Vadillo skillfully saved the ball. A hard shot by Gaizka Candia from long distance, 15 minutes into the match, got Arixo Arrazola's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Quintin Corada might have been able to make a better finish in the 17th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arixo Arrazola. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Quintin Corada ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 24th minute Angelo Deaguero shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cefero Vadillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Quintin Corada received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Arixo Arrazola came out and tried to block the shot, but Quintin Corada slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Salitre's zone, Quintin Corada stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Arixo Arrazola came out of the goal and Quintin Corada tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Quintin Corada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Salitre's Arixo Arrazola proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Salitre from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Monomalismo booed when Salitre was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Maura Ruelas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Arixo Arrazola made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quintin Corada in the 39th minute of play. Samuel Contreras received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Arixo Arrazola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Angelo Deaguero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Monomalismo getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Mikolas Osma hit a great ball. Kepa Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 57 minutes into the match, Salitre's Angelo Deaguero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cefero Vadillo narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monomalismo's goalkeeper Cefero Vadillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kepa Quintero recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 63rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Monomalismo's Cefero Vadillo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 65th minute of the match, managed to save Monomalismo from getting a goal against them. Cefero Vadillo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Angelo Deaguero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Hotz Naveira kicked well hit freekick during the 77th minute of the match. Quintin Corada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arixo Arrazola having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Quintin Corada's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Arixo Arrazola was relentless in the 87th minute of the game. If Quintin Corada had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Salitre's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
