Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Asier Usategui ran back to his position shaking his head. Llorenc Zamudio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicholas Maixenchs in the 6th minute of play. Asier Usategui received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 10th minute. Eufrasio Regil tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 12 played minutes Quishuarpata got a freekick which was hit by Ted Ubago. After having played for 13 minutes, Feliberto Alacan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Once Estrellas FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Feliberto Alacan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Asier Usategui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Once Estrellas FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Asier Usategui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Eufrasio Regil breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 24 minutes of play, Quishuarpata's Evaristo Castañiza made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Llorenc Zamudio was left in no man's land by his defense there! An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Castañiza in the 27th minute of play forced Once Estrellas FC's goalkeeper Llorenc Zamudio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 28th minute Nicholas Maixenchs shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Llorenc Zamudio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Evaristo Castañiza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Evaristo Castañiza came up free with the goalie in the 33rd minute, the Quishuarpata fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Evaristo Castañiza couldn't finish the play. The supporters of Quishuarpata booed when Once Estrellas FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alvaro Riancho didn't get a good kick on the ball.

Eufrasio Regil took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Feliberto Alacan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Asier Usategui sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Once Estrellas FC booed when Quishuarpata was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pablo Cabalar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Feliberto Alacan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eufrasio Regil having to interfere. 70 minutes into the match, Once Estrellas FC's goalkeeper Llorenc Zamudio had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Evaristo Castañiza. Eufrasio Regil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Asier Usategui in the 79th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Once Estrellas FC's zone, Ted Ubago stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Llorenc Zamudio came out of the goal and Ted Ubago tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Eufrasio Regil made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Feliberto Alacan in the 84th minute of play. In the 84th minute, Ted Ubago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 87th minute of the match Ted Ubago completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Ted Ubago a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. A collision led to Quishuarpata getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Ted Ubago hit a great ball. Feliberto Alacan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Llorenc Zamudio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Evaristo Castañiza in the 97th minute. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
