Maura Ruelas hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. When Eudoxio Carral came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Lucas FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Eudoxio Carral couldn't finish the play. After a rather tough play, Salitre's Maura Ruelas got a free kick in the 18th minute. Salitre's Kepa Quintero got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Lucas FBC's Joaquim Besosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Angelo Deaguero in the 27th minute of play. Eudoxio Carral fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 32nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arixo Arrazola having to interfere. Kepa Quintero who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 47thth minute tested the skills of Joaquim Besosa when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Angelo Deaguero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Besosa having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Angelo Deaguero made a kick off. Joaquim Besosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Angelo Deaguero in the 52nd minute of the match. In the 55th match minute, Lucas FBC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by William Piñeros to maneuver through the defense. Lucas FBC's Joaquim Besosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kepa Quintero in the 59th minute of play. The supporters of Salitre booed when Lucas FBC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Confesor Albuerne didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Lucas FBC's zone, Kepa Quintero stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Joaquim Besosa came out of the goal and Kepa Quintero tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 68 minutes into the match, Lucas FBC's goal looked a bit too open when Kepa Quintero came free, but Joaquim Besosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eudoxio Carral sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Haimar Rionda had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Lucas FBC getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Bartolome Espindola hit a great ball. Angelo Deaguero received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 84th minute. Joaquim Besosa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Kepa Quintero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lucas FBC's Haimar Rionda in the 89th minute got a chance for a shot 89th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Salitre's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Angelo Deaguero managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Salitre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Angelo Deaguero was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The Lucas FBC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
