Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Huaypira FBC's Cordero Herrasti started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Pietro Calvillo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Madeo Gallinal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Huaypira FBC defense, Urbasa Cicero kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Madeo Gallinal. The Huaypira FBC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Madeo Gallinal should have stopped the shot. Carlomagno Melcon hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Carlomagno Melcon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Huaypira FBC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlomagno Melcon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jatsu Azpiazu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Xabier Cuenca kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 27th minute of the match Arixo Soret shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Madeo Gallinal showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 28th minute, Xuoco Lago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 29 minutes into the match, Ezequiel Buergo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Madeo Gallinal. Huaypira FBC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ezequiel Buergo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Cordero Herrasti received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Jatsu Azpiazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Universitario's Jatsu Azpiazu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cordero Herrasti in the 36th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Carlomagno Melcon took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Jatsu Azpiazu to make any attempt to save it. In a very dangerous position, a player in Universitario fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 42nd minute. Penalty! Jatsu Azpiazu went to the wrong direction when Bittor Herriaga was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Benat Fasgar hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ezequiel Buergo made a kick off. When Ezequiel Buergo came up free with the goalie in the 53rd minute, the Universitario fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ezequiel Buergo couldn't finish the play. Ezequiel Buergo struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Madeo Gallinal didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Universitario. 60 minutes into the match, Carlomagno Melcon notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Universitario's Jatsu Azpiazu. Jatsu Azpiazu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When Carlomagno Melcon came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Huaypira FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Carlomagno Melcon couldn't finish the play. Carlomagno Melcon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Jatsu Azpiazu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Carlomagno Melcon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Cordero Herrasti in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jatsu Azpiazu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Mazuste Eiriz took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 86th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Jatsu Azpiazu. Universitario's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Jatsu Azpiazu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Cordero Herrasti, who was totally free with the ball in the 87th minute. Carlomagno Melcon struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Jatsu Azpiazu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Huaypira FBC. In the 94th minute of the match Adrian Sardaneta sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jatsu Azpiazu skillfully saved the ball. Cordero Herrasti fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jatsu Azpiazu having to interfere. When the referee ended the match the Huaypira FBC players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
