With a little luck, Ross FC's Hermon Farias got control of the ball when Nacho Villafane tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 42nd minute Duardo Lete shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hermon Farias saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ross FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 43rd minute. Penalty! Bazkoare Cossio shot the penalty kick right outside the post. Resto Bara was shown his second yellow card after 46 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. Hermon Farias made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Duardo Lete in the 48th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duardo Lete made a kick off. The supporters of real chuyabamba booed when Ross FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Garaona Arizcun didn't get a good kick on the ball. 57 minutes into the game, Jurdan Cajigal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Txaran Uriona recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 91st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
