The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 5 minutes, Abelardo Ovin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC Cesamica and the Cumi players grew even worse after the yellow card. Cumi's Maties Ocio shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 5th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Isadoro Villarmerin but with some difficulty. The audience was convinced that Bernard Calderero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Isadoro Villarmerin was relentless in the 21st minute of the game. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gregory Iturralde was the one to do the kick off. After a rather tough play, Cumi's Jordy Pico got a free kick in the 58th minute. Isadoro Villarmerin made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vitoria Corel in the 61st minute of play. Nevada Montoto kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Cordarin Palomar could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Alvaro Setien made a huge save. Nevada Montoto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alvaro Setien having to interfere. If Bernard Calderero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. FC Cesamica's Isadoro Villarmerin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Velasco Frenes in the 96th minute of play. Mitxel Bedoya's late challenge caught a FC Cesamica's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mitxel Bedoya helped the player get up and apologised. Mitxel Bedoya hit a great freekick 98 minutes into the match. There was no doubt that Cumi were the better team. Cumi's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
