Spectators: 5010 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 10) Cumi's Bernard Calderero started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Teodor Rosich was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 2nd minute. Amailayo's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Bernard Calderero kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 5 minutes into the match, Cumi's goalkeeper Alvaro Setien had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mede Barrantes. Teodor Rosich received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Alvaro Setien tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Xaiver Astozas in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Setien prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 15th minute, Blasi Sorribes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Teodor Rosich had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Amailayo defense, Velasco Frenes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sugar Piedeconcha. The Amailayo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sugar Piedeconcha should have stopped the shot. Velasco Frenes scored 0-2 in the 26th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Sugar Piedeconcha, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Maties Ocio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cumi's supporters rose to their feet, but Maties Ocio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sugar Piedeconcha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bernard Calderero took the ball and in the 40 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sugar Piedeconcha. Sugar Piedeconcha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. After the first half Cumi were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

Mede Barrantes scored 1-3 in the 55th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Alvaro Setien, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Alvaro Setien showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Xaiver Astozas in the 60th minute of the match. Alvaro Setien made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Teodor Rosich in the 68th minute of play. Velasco Frenes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Sugar Piedeconcha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amailayo's Tano Conchas was substituted for Mede Barrantes. After a rather tough play, Amailayo's Aresti Canel got a free kick in the 90th minute. When Xaiver Astozas came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Amailayo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xaiver Astozas couldn't finish the play. Cumi's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
