Bastian Guemez showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. Falah Rashid took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Leo Amocia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Christian Kinnman got free with Sandaili Varas in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The supporters of Olympique Lima booed when Sporting Nacional was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. German Idiaquez didn't get a good kick on the ball. 22 minutes into the match, Sporting Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when Bastian Guemez came free, but Sandaili Varas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 24 minutes into the game, Christian Kinnman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Sandaili Varas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Bastian Guemez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Sporting Nacional's Haroldo Llama got a free kick in the 32nd minute. A collision led to Sporting Nacional getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Beltxe Zamudio hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Olympique Lima's Bastian Guemez slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Sandaili Varas. That made the score 4-0 after 34 minutes of play. Sporting Nacional's Sandaili Varas proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 37th minute of the match, managed to save Sporting Nacional from getting a goal against them. After 40th play minutes Bastian Guemez shot 5-0, a short shot which went by Sandaili Varas and just under the crossbar into goal. 45 minutes into the match, Christian Kinnman dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Sandaili Varas, 6-0.

In the 57th minute, Christian Kinnman made a precise shot to the right of Sandaili Varas. Sporting Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 8-0. After 60 played minutes Sporting Nacional got a freekick which was hit by Formerio Trapiella. After a rather tough play, Sporting Nacional's Waldir Oromi got a free kick in the 69th minute. 70 minutes into the game, Christian Kinnman cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 9-0. Sandaili Varas was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 76th minute, Bastian Guemez made a precise shot to the right of Sandaili Varas. Sporting Nacional's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 10-0. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Nacional's zone, Bastian Guemez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandaili Varas came out of the goal and Bastian Guemez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paquito Urive charged in rather forcefully in the 85th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Paquito Urive the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Paquito Urive hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. Sporting Nacional's Sandaili Varas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Guemez in the 88th minute of play. 89 minutes into the match, Christian Kinnman had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Sandaili Varas. Sporting Nacional's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Christian Kinnman was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 11-0. If Paquito Urive had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the game, Olympique Lima's Bastian Guemez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sandaili Varas made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 12-0. There was no doubt that Olympique Lima were the better team. Olympique Lima's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
