Macario Vegas stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Marques Valdeon. 0-1. In the 12th minute, Christian Kinnman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marques Valdeon was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 16 minutes into the match, Cuyuchugo's goal looked a bit too open when Christian Kinnman came free, but Marques Valdeon reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Christian Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Cuyuchugo's zone, Bastian Guemez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marques Valdeon came out of the goal and Bastian Guemez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cuyuchugo's Marques Valdeon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bastian Guemez in the 31st minute of play. Christian Kinnman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Christian Kinnman struck a weak shot in the 35th minute. Marques Valdeon didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Olympique Lima. 40 minutes into the game, Olympique Lima's Bastian Guemez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marques Valdeon made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. A collision led to Cuyuchugo getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. The audience was convinced that Bastian Guemez's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Marques Valdeon was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Severino Tinoco got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Marques Valdeon made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Christian Kinnman sent off a good shot on target. Bastian Guemez scored 0-7 in the 71st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marques Valdeon, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marques Valdeon came out of the goal and Bastian Guemez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olympique Lima's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
