Spectators: 0 (Terracing: 0, Seating: 0, VIP seats: 0) The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 3rd minute of the game. One of Atahualpa:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sporting Nacional:s goal. Guillelme Ruidiez went to the wrong direction when Haroldo Llama was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. 7 minutes into the match, Sporting Nacional's goal looked a bit too open when 莫飞迪 came free, but Sandaili Varas reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sandaili Varas showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from 莫飞迪, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Victorino Mathey could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 17th minute of the match, but Guillelme Ruidiez made a huge save. Bertran Rivadeneira took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sandaili Varas. Sandaili Varas dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sporting Nacional's Sandaili Varas played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 莫飞迪 in the 27th minute of play. When Bertran Rivadeneira fell near the penalty area in the 29th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Atahualpa's protests and gave Bertran Rivadeneira a yellow card for diving instead. Guillelme Ruidiez was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Formerio Trapiella. Sandaili Varas took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from 莫飞迪, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Beltxe Zamudio hit a great freekick 41 minutes into the match.

The wind increased when Leo Amocia made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Sporting Nacional's goalkeeper Sandaili Varas had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Baiona Castells. Baiona Castells recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 60 minutes, Baiona Castells managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atahualpa's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baiona Castells was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Baiona Castells came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Atahualpa fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baiona Castells couldn't finish the play. Atahualpa's Christiano Velunza was substituted for Clodio Franques. In the 67th match minute, Atahualpa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bertran Rivadeneira to maneuver through the defense. In the 72nd minute, Benvide Cortiguera got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Bertran Rivadeneira got his second yellow card in the match during the 81st minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. The supporters of Sporting Nacional booed when Atahualpa was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bertran Rivadeneira didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 86th minute, Christiano Velunza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 87th minute of the match Haroldo Llama sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Guillelme Ruidiez skillfully saved the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
