In the 5th match minute, Sakura Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anthony Di Loreto to maneuver through the defense. In the 6th match minute, Sakura Storm was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Xever Madrigal to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Luka Langoni fired a really elegant long shot, but Carl Nicholson threw himself and managed to get hold of the ball just in front of the right post. After 9 minutes, Benino Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the La Palma FC and the Sakura Storm players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 10th match minute, La Palma FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ferrando Rigual to maneuver through the defense. After 15 minutes Sakura Storm's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Luka Langoni who took care of the corner kick. The crowd rose to their feet as La Palma FC's Adalberto Persol slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Carl Nicholson. That made the score 1-0 after 19 minutes of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 25th minute of play forced La Palma FC's goalkeeper Șerban Fundătoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Fundătoreanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gualterio Lucian in the 32nd minute of play. Carl Nicholson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Adalberto Persol in the 33rd minute of play. Sakura Storm were awarded a corner in the 38th minute after La Palma FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Anthony Di Loreto took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gualterio Lucian in the 43rd minute of play forced La Palma FC's goalkeeper Șerban Fundătoreanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Fundătoreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeusz Dziechciowski in the 46th minute of the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Tadeusz Dziechciowski stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Sakura Storm getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Tadeusz Dziechciowski hit a great ball. Benino Maria took the ball and in the 58 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Carl Nicholson. Carl Nicholson dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. In the 63rd minute, Tadeusz Dziechciowski fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 66th minute, Ferrando Rigual hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 72 played minutes Sakura Storm got a freekick which was hit by Tadeusz Dziechciowski. If Tadeusz Dziechciowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 79 minutes of play, La Palma FC's Luka Langoni made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Carl Nicholson was left in no man's land by his defense there! La Palma FC's Paul Guajardo was substituted for Luka Langoni. La Palma FC's Benedicto Maiz was substituted for Joel Portanares.
