A very good chance for a goal. 24 minutes into the match, Galanthue Descentralizado's goal looked a bit too open when Guipuzkoa Saludes came free, but Noe Bazo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, SPORTING CRYSTAL's Erauso Brunet got control of the ball when Rusi Dokuzanov tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 32nd minute of the match Galanthue Descentralizado got a corner. SPORTING CRYSTAL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Rusi Dokuzanov ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led to Galanthue Descentralizado's Julian Ludueña getting away a dangerous shot that went just outside the goal. Noe Bazo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Guipuzkoa Saludes's shot from short distance in the 38th minute. Rusi Dokuzanov could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 44th minute of the match, but Erauso Brunet made a huge save. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Guipuzkoa Saludes to strike the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Galanthue Descentralizado's Guillermo Achutegui got a free kick in the 52nd minute. After 53 minutes, Guillermo Achutegui mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Galanthue Descentralizado and the SPORTING CRYSTAL players grew even worse after the yellow card. Galanthue Descentralizado's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
