Claudio Pizarro started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Balkes FC's goal looked a bit too open when Rigoberto Taviel came free, but Matthy Sommers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 6 minutes into the match, Huasamayo's goalkeeper Rodolfo Freixes had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Reimundo Nobajas. Rodolfo Freixes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudio Pizarro, who was totally free with the ball in the 9th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Claudio Pizarro kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Rodolfo Freixes. That made the score 1-0 in the 10 minute of play. In the 21st minute, Wim Roose sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Huasamayo's Rodolfo Freixes didn't even have to move. Claudio Pizarro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rodolfo Freixes having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Blasi Rulan during the 28th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 29th minute, Blasi Rulan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A hard shot 35 in the game by Reimundo Nobajas from a close distance when the talented Rodolfo Freixes managed to make a qualified save. Huasamayo's players were relieved. The supporters of Balkes FC booed when Huasamayo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 37 match minutes in a wonderful position. Estevez Macua didn't get a good kick on the ball. Huasamayo's Rodolfo Freixes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Claudio Pizarro in the 45th minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 46th minute by Reimundo Nobajas got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

The wind increased when Vidal Pescaredo made the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Huasamayo's zone, Juango Carranza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Freixes came out of the goal and Juango Carranza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Juango Carranza hit a great freekick 53 minutes into the match. A collision led to Huasamayo getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Jerrold Gijon hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Huasamayo's zone, Claudio Pizarro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rodolfo Freixes came out of the goal and Claudio Pizarro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute Reimundo Nobajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodolfo Freixes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dündar Tura's late challenge caught a Huasamayo's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dündar Tura helped the player get up and apologised. 61 minutes into the game, one of Balkes FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. If Claudio Pizarro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. If Reimundo Nobajas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 76 played minutes Huasamayo got a freekick which was hit by Estevez Macua. In the 77th minute, Claudio Pizarro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Juango Carranza left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Balkes FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Pizarro in the 83rd minute of play forced Huasamayo's goalkeeper Rodolfo Freixes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodolfo Freixes didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Claudio Pizarro went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 5-1 was the resulting score. In the 90th minute, Claudio Pizarro ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rodolfo Freixes was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-1. Mikeldi Barzana kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match. Balkes FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
