Matthy Sommers didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cincos FC. In the 13th match minute, Cincos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Juan-Carlos Franco to maneuver through the defense. Szymon Cwenar showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reimundo Nobajas in the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Reimundo Nobajas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Szymon Cwenar saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 21st match minute, Cincos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Monico Urigarri to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Lourenco Pazo during the 30th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Cincos FC getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Lourenco Pazo hit a great ball. Reimundo Nobajas fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Szymon Cwenar having to interfere. When Reimundo Nobajas came up free with the goalie in the 38th minute, the Balkes FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Reimundo Nobajas couldn't finish the play. After 41 played minutes Balkes FC got a freekick which was hit by Calle Lindström. Claudio Pizarro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Claudio Pizarro to make the kick off. 53 minutes into the match, Reimundo Nobajas notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cincos FC's Szymon Cwenar. Szymon Cwenar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 57th minute, Claudio Pizarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 59thth minute of the game Claudio Pizarro who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Cincos FC's Szymon Cwenar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Claudio Pizarro in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Szymon Cwenar saved Cincos FC from getting behind. In the 61st minute, Claudio Pizarro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 63 minutes in the game, Claudio Pizarro fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Szymon Cwenar having to interfere. After having played for 64 minutes, Reimundo Nobajas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Balkes FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reimundo Nobajas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Claudio Pizarro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Cincos FC booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mikeldi Barzana didn't get a good kick on the ball. Libertad Irisarri charged in rather forcefully in the 77th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Libertad Irisarri the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Cincos FC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Libertad Irisarri hit a great ball. Monico Urigarri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The audience was convinced that Claudio Pizarro's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Szymon Cwenar was relentless in the 82nd minute of the game. In the 84th minute, Balkes FC's Claudio Pizarro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-2. 88 minutes into the match, Cincos FC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudio Pizarro came free, but Szymon Cwenar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
