But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Berriotxoa Agosto couldn't finish the play. Matthy Sommers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Berriotxoa Agosto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of SLAVAMARLOW booed when Balkes FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 14 match minutes in a wonderful position. Juango Carranza didn't get a good kick on the ball. Oinaz Rigues received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Matthy Sommers tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Balkes FC getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dündar Tura hit a great ball. In the 19th minute, Reimundo Nobajas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Celestino Gormaz was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Balkes FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave SLAVAMARLOW the free kick. Oinaz Rigues might have been able to make a better finish in the 41st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matthy Sommers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Oinaz Rigues ran back to his position shaking his head. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Oinaz Rigues was the one to do the kick off. Berriotxoa Agosto could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 54th minute of the match, but Matthy Sommers made a huge save. After 60 minutes, Katia Ariza mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Balkes FC and the SLAVAMARLOW players grew even worse after the yellow card. Venceslao Idalgo kicked well hit freekick during the 91st minute of the match. Balkes FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
