The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 15 minutes into the match, UD Maracaibo's goalkeeper Niolaao Rapado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ferrer Pato. Niolaao Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Itzaina Lavin, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. Bruno Ballin sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ferrer Pato had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Xever Castiñeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gorbea Barja saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Sesuldo Cachero came up free with the goalie in the 25th minute, the FC MILLONARIOS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sesuldo Cachero couldn't finish the play. When Teodoro Aragones fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored UD Maracaibo's protests and gave Teodoro Aragones a yellow card for diving instead. If Itzaina Lavin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 46 minutes into the match, UD Maracaibo's goal looked a bit too open when Itzaina Lavin came free, but Niolaao Rapado reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Itzaina Lavin struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Niolaao Rapado didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC MILLONARIOS.

The wind increased when Itzaina Lavin made the kick off in the second half. Niolaao Rapado didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ferrer Pato went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. Ferrer Pato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 68 minutes into the match, Cerilo Ajorbe had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Gorbea Barja. When Cresconio Yurre fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored FC MILLONARIOS's protests and gave Cresconio Yurre a yellow card for diving instead. In the 77th match minute, FC MILLONARIOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cresconio Yurre to maneuver through the defense. Niolaao Rapado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ferrer Pato, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Through an outstanding action, after 81 minutes, Gorbea Barja successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. When the referee ended the match the FC MILLONARIOS players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
