Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Larra Traveso started the match with the kick off. After 3 minutes of play, CLUB COMERCIANTES UNIDOS's Ler Zaldos made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Niolaao Rapado was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 7 minutes, Cerilo Ajorbe managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. UD Maracaibo's supporters crossed their fingers, but Cerilo Ajorbe was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Larra Traveso could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 21st minute of the match, but Niolaao Rapado made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ler Zaldos in the 22nd minute of play forced UD Maracaibo's goalkeeper Niolaao Rapado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 23rd minute Jaime Lavet shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bonifaco Arnao kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Vitin Vela came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by UD Maracaibo's Jaime Lavet. But to his dismay, Jaime Lavet quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Bem Bom received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Niolaao Rapado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Vitin Vela showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jaime Lavet, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. If Ler Zaldos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

In the 52nd minute, Xever Castiñeira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Vitin Vela. The goal made the score 1-2. Niolaao Rapado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Larra Traveso in the 64th minute of the match. Arsenio Ocerin charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Arsenio Ocerin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to UD Maracaibo getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Arsenio Ocerin hit a great ball. Bem Bom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niolaao Rapado having to interfere. After 72 minutes of play, CLUB COMERCIANTES UNIDOS's Larra Traveso made it 2-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cerilo Ajorbe got free with Vitin Vela in the 78th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitin Vela took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jaime Lavet, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 84 minutes into the match, CLUB COMERCIANTES UNIDOS's goal looked a bit too open when Xever Castiñeira came free, but Vitin Vela reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 87th match minute, CLUB COMERCIANTES UNIDOS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Santo Domingo to maneuver through the defense. In the 88th minute Xever Castiñeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Vitin Vela saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vitin Vela didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Cerilo Ajorbe went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. UD Maracaibo's Niolaao Rapado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ler Zaldos in the 95th minute of play. Larra Traveso fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Niolaao Rapado having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched UD Maracaibo eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
