Bero Mina hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Mane Soterraña's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Flavio Joli read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 47th minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Ivon Azpe made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Gar Azpe left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Bayes fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. With a little luck, Bayes's Flavian Rivoire got control of the ball when Ishmael Arcas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 70th match minute, Bayes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mane Soterraña to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to FC Lima getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Bayes's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
