Omar Sedans short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Felipillo Susvilla to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Felipillo Susvilla made a fantastic save in the 43rd minute, when Omar Sedan sent off a good shot on target. Benvide Lozana hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Silvino Ubach hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Mouricio Ibarlucea made a kick off. Omar Sedan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Felipillo Susvilla read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. Alianza lima's Burutzagi Cia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Laureano Pujana in the 55th minute of play. Real Atletico Union's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Alianza lima the free kick. After 92 played minutes Real Atletico Union got a freekick which was hit by Zelipe Raña.
