After having played for 44 minutes, Fix Careaga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Tumboya F.C.'s supporters crossed their fingers, but Fix Careaga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Itzaina Sella didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Oto Melgar went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Xulian Graciosa stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the CUSCO FC defense, Salvatore Affonso kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Itzaina Sella. The CUSCO FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Itzaina Sella should have stopped the shot. Itzaina Sella showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fix Careaga in the 93rd minute of the match. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Tumboya F.C. fully deserved thier win.
