The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. 9 minutes into the game, one of Unión Huaral:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Jhonny FC a penalty, 12 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Gaizka Bailey, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Unión Huaral's Karlo Ferreros. 1-0. Jhonny FC's Cordarrol Cepeda played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francesco Carranceja in the 16th minute of play. Karlo Ferreros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaizka Bailey, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Unión Huaral's goal looked a bit too open when Gaizka Bailey came free, but Karlo Ferreros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute, Francesco Carranceja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Karlo Ferreros made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ubarna Quintanadueñas in the 28th minute. Francesco Carranceja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Cordarrol Cepeda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Karlo Ferreros didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Rainerio Mannhardt went, in the 45th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ubarna Quintanadueñas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Unión Huaral's Karlo Ferreros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ubarna Quintanadueñas in the 53rd minute of play. Karlo Ferreros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gaizka Bailey in the 54th minute of play. After 58 minutes of play, Jhonny FC's Ubarna Quintanadueñas made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Karlo Ferreros was left in no man's land by his defense there! Lapurdi Iruleta kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Aimar Aguinaga hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Unión Huaral's goal looked a bit too open when Ubarna Quintanadueñas came free, but Karlo Ferreros reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cordarrol Cepeda showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francesco Carranceja in the 79th minute of the match. The supporters of Unión Huaral booed when Jhonny FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Xzaiver Olaisola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ubarna Quintanadueñas took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Karlo Ferreros. Karlo Ferreros dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-0. Incendio Campelo hit a great freekick 86 minutes into the match. In the 89thth minute of the game Ubarna Quintanadueñas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión Huaral's Karlo Ferreros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Ubarna Quintanadueñas fell near the penalty area in the 93rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Jhonny FC's protests and gave Ubarna Quintanadueñas a yellow card for diving instead. In the 93rd match minute, Jhonny FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ubarna Quintanadueñas to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Jhonny FC had won after a very even match.
