One of CSS.20:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Universitario:s goal. 8 minutes into the match, CSS.20's goal looked a bit too open when Lionel-Andrés Newell came free, but Virila Borizar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 10th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Virila Borizar saved CSS.20 from getting behind. Virila Borizar made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Virila Borizar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Lionel-Andrés Newell, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Aquilino Masdeu fell near the penalty area in the 24th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitario's protests and gave Aquilino Masdeu a yellow card for diving instead. Aquilino Masdeu hit a great freekick 24 minutes into the match. Virila Borizar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Salvador Montrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. After a rather tough play, Universitario's Ladislao Asur got a free kick in the 28th minute. Salvador Montrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Virila Borizar having to interfere. When Salvador Montrell fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Universitario's protests and gave Salvador Montrell a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of CSS.20 booed when Universitario was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 33 match minutes in a wonderful position. Salvador Montrell didn't get a good kick on the ball. After having played for 34 minutes, Chan Riba managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. CSS.20's supporters crossed their fingers, but Chan Riba was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 35th minute Euloxu Rojas suffered a thigh injury and had to be helped off the field. Andy Miruena's late challenge caught a Universitario's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Andy Miruena helped the player get up and apologised. 37 minutes into the match, Lionel-Andrés Newell notched a goal, 0-3, to the right of CSS.20's Virila Borizar. Virila Borizar was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. 40 minutes into the match, Salvador Montrell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virila Borizar. CSS.20's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Salvador Montrell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. When Universitario's Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 44th minute got a chance for a shot 44th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After the first half Universitario were leading 0-4. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Lionel-Andrés Newell was the one to do the kick off. Universitario's attentive Carlos Zambrano managed to snatch the ball when Pietro Villapadierna made a throw-in in the 52nd minute of the game. After 52 played minutes CSS.20 got a freekick which was hit by Alonso Zumiza. When Universitario's Lionel-Andrés Newell in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Salvador Montrell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Universitario's Branislav Vitev was substituted for 杜升强. In the 79thth minute of the game Mon Postigo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CSS.20's Virila Borizar was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 80 minutes into the match, Mon Postigo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Virila Borizar. CSS.20's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Mon Postigo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-5. After having played for 83 minutes, Mon Postigo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. In the 85th match minute, CSS.20 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Chan Riba to maneuver through the defense. After 86 minutes, Mon Postigo made it 0-6 with a short kick to the right side. CSS.20's Virila Borizar tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mon Postigo in the 89th minute of play forced CSS.20's goalkeeper Virila Borizar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mon Postigos short, quick shot in the 91stth minute got Virila Borizar to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Mon Postigo might have been able to make a better finish in the 96th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Virila Borizar. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Mon Postigo ran back to his position shaking his head. The CSS.20 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Universitario were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
