Yomblom FC's Lando Malvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 6th minute of the match, managed to save Yomblom FC from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francesco Carranceja in the 8th minute of play forced Yomblom FC's goalkeeper Lando Malvido to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Yomblom FC defense, Francesco Carranceja kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Lando Malvido. The Yomblom FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Lando Malvido should have stopped the shot. 14 minutes into the game, Mercurio Rois threw the ball into play from the sideline. Yomblom FC's David Molina quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Karlo Ferreros showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. 17 minutes into the game, Yomblom FC's Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Karlo Ferreros made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-1. Karlo Ferreros made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from David Molina in the 20th minute of play. Karlo Ferreros stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal's shot from short distance in the 28th minute. Unión Huaral's Karlo Ferreros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Deb Orallo in the 31st minute of play. In the 31st minute, Zenaido Toranzo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Evelio Gandarias kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Yomblom FC's David Molina got a free kick in the 37th minute. 39 minutes into the match, Yomblom FC's goalkeeper Lando Malvido had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicanor Cerrabe. In the 41stth minute of the game David Molina who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Unión Huaral's Karlo Ferreros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 44th minute Víctor-Emilio Rivadeneyra-Gamonal shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karlo Ferreros saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lando Malvido made an important save on a dangerous shot by Salvino Cavia in the 46th minute.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and David Molina made a kick off. Karlo Ferreros showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from David Molina in the 52nd minute of the match. When the match had gone on for 56 minutes, Salvino Cavia put it in 2-2 from a short distance just to the right of Lando Malvido. Unión Huaral were furious when Marino Doro was red carded, 63 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. 63 minutes into the game, one of Unión Huaral:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. A sloppy throw-in by Mercurio Rois in the 71st minute of the game went astray and was snapped up by Yomblom FC's David Molina. In the 74th minute, Francesco Carranceja got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Francesco Carranceja had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 78th minute, Deb Orallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Carranceja kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Karlo Ferreros took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Deb Orallo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Yomblom FC's Lando Malvido played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicanor Cerrabe in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Unión Huaral's zone, David Molina stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karlo Ferreros came out of the goal and David Molina tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 90th minute, Deb Orallo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Francesco Carranceja received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Lando Malvido tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Unión Huaral manager could be seen shouting at his players as they walked down the tunnel after the match. He was clearly angry that they had squandered their superior possession, allowing Yomblom FC to win.
