EBK's Marcelo Quexada played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Castel Vardeci in the 10th minute of play. Castel Vardeci's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marcelo Quexada read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. Franco Dionisi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eusko Zubicoeta, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. The audience was convinced that Cornelio Omero's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Franco Dionisi was relentless in the 15th minute of the game. Nimrod Tel Babil's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Cornelio Omero scored to the left of an out of position Franco Dionisi, making the score, 4-0. 47 minutes into the match, Nimrod Tel Babil's goal looked a bit too open when Eusko Zubicoeta came free, but Franco Dionisi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.

Betinho Carvalho scored 5-0 in the 52nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Franco Dionisi, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot.
