The coaching staff of Fuerza Celeste protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Hans Snäll had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 21st minute, Zoil Artolozaga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Haimar Noguera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Leobardo Leizaur read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 30th minute of play. In the 37th match minute, Fuerza Celeste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Haimar Noguera to maneuver through the defense. 39 minutes into the match, Fuerza Celeste's goal looked a bit too open when Batu Cem Şahinoğlu came free, but Benat Giral reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Börje Kalfhage to strike the kick off in the second half. Benedicto Estrada's Walme Saucedo quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Enmanuel Arrate, made in the 52nd minute of the game. With a little luck, Benedicto Estrada's Leobardo Leizaur got control of the ball when Haimar Noguera tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fuerza Celeste's Benat Giral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Batu Cem Şahinoğlu in the 56th minute of play. 67 minutes into the match, Zoil Artolozaga notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Fuerza Celeste's Benat Giral. Benat Giral was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Haimar Noguera kicked well hit freekick during the 83rd minute of the match. If Koray Balbay had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benat Giral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zoil Artolozaga in the 93rd minute of play. Benat Giral took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Batu Cem Şahinoğlu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Fuerza Celeste booed when Benedicto Estrada was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 96 match minutes in a wonderful position. Koray Balbay didn't get a good kick on the ball. Haimar Noguera's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Leobardo Leizaur firmly grabbed it by the left post. Benedicto Estrada's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
