After 2 played minutes Cholazo got a freekick which was hit by Berenguer Tijero. When Yanaaja 's Xuan Termiñoso in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Cholazo's goalie prevented a goal. James Termiñoso scored 1-0 in the 16th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Efrain Mirabel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Maria Tarrero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Oskitz Morales during the 35th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Yanaaja booed when Cholazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Oskitz Morales didn't get a good kick on the ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 43rd minute of the game. One of Cholazo:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Yanaaja :s goal. The supporters of Yanaaja booed when Cholazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Jairo Olivar didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot 48 in the game by James Termiñoso from a close distance when the talented Efrain Mirabel managed to make a qualified save. Cholazo's players were relieved.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Xuan Termiñoso was the one to do the kick off. When Conrado Omaña came up free with the goalie in the 52nd minute, the Cholazo fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Omaña couldn't finish the play. After recieving a nice pass, Cholazo's Maria Tarrero tried to score from far away in the 56th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 59 played minutes Cholazo got a freekick which was hit by Duarte Felipez. After a rather tough play, Cholazo's Berenguer Tijero got a free kick in the 65th minute. The supporters of Yanaaja booed when Cholazo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dimo Figueroa didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 77 minutes, Berenguer Tijero mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Cholazo and the Yanaaja players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, Berenguer Tijero hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Rogerio Berberana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Yanaaja 's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogerio Berberana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Efrain Mirabel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Conrado Omaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Felipez hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. In the 92nd minute Taio Ybarbo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bartoli Pellon saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Efrain Mirabel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Xuan Termiñoso, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Conrado Omaña had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When the referee blew the final whistle, Yanaaja could leave the field as winners, despite Cholazo having more of the ball for most of the match.
