Locaio Tamaron made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harkaitz Mendizabal in the 13th minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in Chayuta's zone, Raul Villagran stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Eleuterio Urquiaga came out of the goal and Raul Villagran tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 16 minutes into the game, Pacifico Martiniana was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chayuta's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ANDES FC the free kick. Pacifico Martiniana kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Raul Villagran struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Eleuterio Urquiaga didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ANDES FC. Harkaitz Mendizabal blasted a shot towards the goal in the 22nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Locaio Tamaron having to make a save. Raul Villagran received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Eleuterio Urquiaga tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With a little luck, Chayuta's Eleuterio Urquiaga got control of the ball when Raul Villagran tried to sneak it across the goal line. Hurko Cacho's late challenge caught a ANDES FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hurko Cacho helped the player get up and apologised. Hurko Cacho hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, Chayuta's Hurko Cacho got a free kick in the 39th minute. The supporters of Chayuta booed when ANDES FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bikendi Rutges didn't get a good kick on the ball. Locaio Tamaron showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harkaitz Mendizabal in the 42nd minute of the match. Ixona Baamonde sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ixona Baamonde in the 46th minute of play forced ANDES FC's goalkeeper Locaio Tamaron to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The audience thought a goal was coming when Harkaitz Mendizabal got free with Locaio Tamaron in the 53rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ixona Baamonde in the 56th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Locaio Tamaron saved ANDES FC from getting behind. Harkaitz Mendizabal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 62nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eleuterio Urquiaga took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raul Villagran, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Harkaitz Mendizabal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Locaio Tamaron tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raul Villagran in the 72nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Eleuterio Urquiaga prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 76 minutes, Harkaitz Mendizabal managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Chayuta's supporters crossed their fingers, but Harkaitz Mendizabal was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When ANDES FC's Raul Villagran in the 78th minute got a chance for a shot 78th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Chayuta's goalie prevented a goal. Raymundo Mas ran back to his position shaking his head. After 96 minutes, Hug Prada mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the ANDES FC and the Chayuta players grew even worse after the yellow card. Hug Prada hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Chayuta walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
