Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Pomamayo's Fabio Garzon started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the game, Galsino Briñas cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Cebo Proaño was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Fabio Garzon kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. When Marcos Pedrero came up free with the goalie in the 10th minute, the San Juan FBC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcos Pedrero couldn't finish the play. In the 14th minute, Marcos Pedrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 16 minutes, Estavan Mazule mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pomamayo and the San Juan FBC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Pomamayo's Estavan Mazule got a free kick in the 16th minute. In the 17th minute, Nadir Ulusu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 19th minute, Marcos Pedrero got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Galsino Briñas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 25th minute Libertad Treviño shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cebo Proaño saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Galsino Briñas in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Cebo Proaño saved Pomamayo from getting behind. Stoyan Teodosiev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Fabio Garzon in the 31st minute of play. Cebo Proaño didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Libertad Treviño went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. The audience was convinced that Galsino Briñas's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cebo Proaño was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. Cebo Proaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcos Pedrero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Pomamayo's zone, Galsino Briñas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cebo Proaño came out of the goal and Galsino Briñas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Marcos Pedrero stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Cebo Proaño showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Galsino Briñas, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Marcos Pedrero succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-5 in the 62nd playminute. Bartoli Acha made in the 66th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Ramos Godines however managed to control. Marcos Pedrero fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cebo Proaño having to interfere. 75 minutes into the match, Marcos Pedrero notched a goal, 0-6, to the right of Pomamayo's Cebo Proaño. Cebo Proaño was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. San Juan FBC made a substitution. Markel Romay replaced Marcos Pedrero. In the 82nd minute, Ramos Godines ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stoyan Teodosiev was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-6. Cebo Proaño took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Galsino Briñas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Galsino Briñas in the 89th minute of play forced Pomamayo's goalkeeper Cebo Proaño to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 92 minutes into the match, San Juan FBC's Markel Romay sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cebo Proaño narrowly saved just below the crossbar. San Juan FBC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
